Description

In this class, we'll be using p5.js to do the majority of our coding. p5.js is an accessible web-based coding environment.

This exercise has a few steps:

1. Please make sure you have signed up for the class Discord!
2. Watch this interview with Lauren Lee McCarthy, the creator of p5.js:
   
3. Watch this video by Dan Shiffman of Coding Train (an excellent resource)
   
4. Sign up for p5.js
5. Look at the name p5.js generates for your first sketch. Imagine a possible art work with that name, it could be anything from a painting to a media installation.
6. Within the introductions channel on the class Discord, share the name of your first sketch, a brief description of your imagined artwork as well as introduce yourself to the class.
